In addition, in 2021 our Annual iReport 2020 was a bronze medal winner in the Digital Communication Awards.
eParticipation
What is eParticipation?
Our eParticipation module enables you to get your clients and stakeholders involved.
Single questions or entire questionnaires can be added at any place in your iReport, whether you want to measure the public support for the proposed changes or get feedback on a list of alternatives.
In addition to that, your respondents can pinpoint their thoughts directly on a map, so that the geographical location is also stored. eParticipation is a quick and easy addition to your iReport and ensures optimal stakeholder participation - adding value to your projects and ultimately your clients.
Web Accessibility/ Digitoegankelijkheid
What is Web Accessibility/ Digitoegankelijkheid?
Web accessibility/ Digitoegankelijkheid allows everyone, including people with disabilities, to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Internet.
Since December 2016, the member states of the EU have the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which are a set of web accessibility guidelines published by the Web Accessibility Initiative.
These guidelines were designed to ensure that basic human activities, such as making use of the internet and viewing online content, can be accessible to everyone. This means that additional functionalities are added to your iReport to ensure that people who have physical disabilities, that would normally not be able to view or understand online content, will be able to obtain the same information and understand the content of the report.
Web accessibility/ Digitoegankelijkheid is not only about design, technical standards, and web architecture. It is a matter of moral obligation and political will, preserved in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). Article 9 of the Convention, to which the EU and its Member States are party, requires that appropriate measures are taken to ensure access to information and communication technologies for persons with disabilities on equal basis with others, which includes the Internet.
Web Accessibility has also been incorporated in national legislation in:
-
Netherlands: Digitoegankelijkheid
-
United Kingdom: Digital accessibility
-
South Africa: Website accessibility
iReport ensures that it stays compliant with the web accessibility legislation for all countries and continues to create an equally accessible environment for everyone.
